In this 4-week course we'll learn four important and powerful mantras that you can use to cultivate a vibration of peace in the mind that you can then send out into the world.
Śāntiḥ (shanti) mantras are technologies used for:
- Health, healing and longevity
- Restoring harmony in communication
- Creativity and problem solving
- Pursuit of self-knowledge
Chanting śāntiḥ mantras:
- helps the mind maintain clarity
- invites living in alignment with the natural state of peace within us
- develops the capacity to maintain peace in the face of challenges
Class Format:
Class will meet once a week at 7pm EST on Sundays 3/8 - 3/29
The week before each class, you'll receive a new module that includes:
- practice recordings for the mantra we'll be working on
- text and translation
- cultural context
Each class will include:

Practicing sounds of the Sanskrit alphabet
- Exploring a new shanti mantra with translation
- Learning how to chant each mantra through the traditional practice if adhayāyanam - listening to small bits once and repeating twice
- Group practice and closing meditation
Recordings will be available if you cannot attend live.
