Vedic chanting is the practice of reciting mantras from the ancient texts of India.These mantras have been preserved by a rigorous oral tradition transmitting the knowledge from teacher to student for thousands of years.
Vedic Chanting for Beginners is a live online 6-week course that gives a solid foundation, not only to chanting, but to the cultural context of the mantras that many Westerners may not be familiar with.
The week before each class, you'll receive a new module that includes:
- practice recordings for the mantra(s) we'll be working on
- text and translation
- symbology of the deity related to the mantra
Class will meet once a week at 7pm EST on Thursdays 1/8 - 2/12
Recordings will be available if you cannot attend live.
Each class will include:
