Learn a powerful daily practice with one of the most sacred mantras in the Vedic tradition.

Gāyatrī Mantra is an ancient call to your soul through the light of the sun inviting clarity and connection to your inner wisdom. 

In this course we will learn a complete practice including:

• an invocational mantra
• an extended form of Gāyatrī Mantra
• prāṅāyāma practice
• traditional Sanskrit sankalpa with mudra
• a beautiful closing mantra

We'll also talk about the important cultural context of this mantra and related philosophy.

The week before class begins, you'll receive portal access that includes the text and practice recordings for the mantras we'll be learning. Additional materials will be added to the portal throughout the course.

Classes will meet Sundays at 7pm EST and Thursdays at 10am EST.

You are welcome to attend once a week or come to both if you would like extra practice with that week's lesson.

The last week of June there will be additional pop-up morning practices accommodating EST, MD and PST times zones.

Recordings will be available if you cannot attend live.

Each class will include:

• Practicing sounds of the Sanskrit alphabet

• Learning the mantras through the traditional practice of adhyāyanam, listening to small bits and repeating.

• Translation, context and cultural context if the mantras.

• accompanying prāṇāyāma & Sanskrit saṅkalpa practices

 There will be additional community practices scheduled throughout the year.
